Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi says the Kenya Kwanza administration would be doing better today if Prof. Kithure Kindiki was President William Rutos running mate in the 2022 General Election of Rigathi Gachagua.
He made this statement at an event.
Sudi said:
"If we had picked Kindiki of Gachagua to be Rutos running mate the Kenya Kwanza administration would not be facing the problems it is facing today."
Oscar Sudi did not say what he meant by problems. He said this at a time when there is a lot of tension between President Ruto and his former ally, Rigathi Gachagua. Sudi has always supported President Ruto and Deputy President Kindiki. He has defended the Kenya Kwanza administration times.
At the time he has criticized Rigathi Gachagua because of the disagreements between Gachagua and President Ruto.
What Oscar Sudi said will likely cause debate about politics.
This is especially true because alliances are changing as the country gets ready for the 2027 General Election. Rigathi Gachagua and Prof. Kithure Kindiki did not comment on what Oscar Sudi said.
Oscar Sudis statement is part of a discussion about the choices that were made during the 2022 elections. It is also, about how those choices have affected the state of politics in the country.
The Kenya Kwanza administration and its leaders, including President William Ruto and Deputy President Kindiki are still dealing with the consequences of the 2022 General Election.
