President Ruto's Official Website Restored After Reported Cyberattack and KSh41 Million Ransom Demand

 

The website of President William Ruto is working again after it was down for a hours. People thought it was because of a cyberattack where hackers wanted 41 million shillings.

A news website called Kenyans.co.ke said that hackers got into the Presidents website and asked for money.. The Government of Kenya has not said anything about this yet.

This problem has started a discussion again about how government websites can handle cyber threats. Experts on cybersecurity say that hackers are getting better at attacking websites to cause trouble steal information or get money.
