Trump Issues Stark Warning to Iran: 'Bomb Them Like Never Before' if Assassination Plot Succeeds

Donald Trump, the President of the US, has stated that he has “taken the measures” for bombarding Iran at an unprecedented level in case Iran does manage to make an attempt at assassinating him, thus increasing tensions between US and Iran.

In a conversation with the New York Post, Trump emphasized that if he is ever attacked, Iran will be bombed “like they’ve never faced before.” Reports have appeared saying that American and Israeli intelligence are monitoring Iran’s threats against Trump.

For a long time now, Trump has been stating that Iran wants to hurt him in retaliation to the drone attack that killed key Iranian general Qassem Soleimani. US authorities have previously pointed out that there are well-known threats against American officials connected to Iran, but Iran has always denied being involved in any assassination applications.

Such statements have come at a time of growing tensions between US and Iran, as military clashes, strategy differences and other problems are intensifying problems in relations between the two countries.

Even though Trump’s comments suggest a declared position of retaliation, military action is not expected to take place in the near future. Use of force will depend solely on subsequent developments along with U.S. laws regarding military activities.

The most recent statements are expected to liven up discussions on the issue of relations between Iran and the U.S.
