Safaricom has informed Fuliza users that they should not count on automatic borrowing limit increases but instead follow the official procedures for refreshing limits.
As per the company, Fuliza borrowing limits depend on many factors, including customer usage of Fuliza and repayment patterns. Therefore, a customer waiting for limit increment does not necessarily guarantee that it will happen.
Those who would like to increase their limit can apply for limit re-assessment through the M-PESA platform by using the Limit Refresh Process.
To get your Fuliza limit refreshed, follow the below steps:
1. Open the M-PESA menu.
2. Select Fuliza M-PESA.
3. Click on Refresh Limit.
4. Follow the instructions shown on the screen and be patient as you wait for the outcome of the application.
Safaricom, however, emphasized that an approved request does not assure the customer of a new higher limit. It was also noted that fulfilling the eligibility conditions would be paramount.
For many M-PESA users, maintaining timely repayments and actively using M-PESA services remain the best ways to improve their chances of qualifying for a higher Fuliza limit over time.
