Katunge Kiilu is one of the people who want to be a member of parliament for Kibra. She wants to join the race for the Kibra seat before the 2027 General Election in Kenya.
She has worked in communication for a time, has experience in talking to the public and working on development projects. Her job experience includes working on communication plans. The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics says she was the Head of Corporate Communication. She also worked with the Beyond Zero Campaign Secretariat. There she was the Head of Communications Public Relations and Knowledge Management Officer.
Recently she talked about communication and leadership at a meeting with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. She represented the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics at this meeting in 2025.
In 2026 she also talked about ethics in statistics at another meeting. Her talk was about leadership in communicating ethics and values.
Now Katunge Kiilu is using this experience in the arena.
The Kibra parliamentary seat is going to be very competitive. Many parties and people want to be a part of it before the 2027 election.
